Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026

UsedHotDogs.com is a race-weekend marketplace concept operated by LidLaunch LLC d/b/a HatLaunch. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, sign up for updates, or enter one of our giveaways, and what we do and do not do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to send you the things you asked for, and we do not sell your information.

1. Who we are

UsedHotDogs.com (“UsedHotDogs,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a brand and website operated by LidLaunch LLC, doing business as HatLaunch (“HatLaunch”), an Illinois limited liability company. UsedHotDogs.com is not a separate legal entity. When you give information to UsedHotDogs.com, you are giving it to LidLaunch LLC.

This policy covers usedhotdogs.com. HatLaunch's own site, hatlaunch.com, is governed by the HatLaunch Privacy Policy. Because the two brands share systems, information collected here may be held in the same customer database as information collected at hatlaunch.com, and is handled consistently under both policies.

3. Information we collect

WhatWhen and why

Name When you enter a giveaway or place an order, so we know who won and where to send the prize.
Mobile phone number Only if you choose to give it on the SMS step of our signup form. See section 5.
State of residence When you enter a giveaway, to confirm eligibility.
Shipping address Only if you win a prize or place an order.
Survey answers Optional questions in our signup form (for example, ketchup or mustard). Used to make the messages we send less generic.
Device and usage data Automatically, when you browse: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP.
Email engagement Whether a message we sent was opened or clicked, so we can stop sending to people who are not interested.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, government ID number, financial account number, health information, or precise GPS location. An exception: if you win a prize valued at $600 or more in a calendar year, U.S. tax law requires us to collect your Social Security number or taxpayer ID on an IRS Form W-9 before we can award it. That information is used only for tax reporting and is not used for marketing.

4. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. SMS / text message communications

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from UsedHotDogs.com, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages at that number, including messages about giveaways, product launches and events, sent using an autodialer.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email help@usedhotdogs.com.

For our messaging program we collect your mobile number, your consent status, the date and time of consent, and information about message delivery and engagement.

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with service providers who help us operate our messaging program, including our email and SMS platform and our telecommunications carriers, and only to the extent necessary to deliver those messages. Text message originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for marketing purposes. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Sweepstakes, contests and promotions

When you enter a giveaway we run, we collect the information listed in the official rules for that promotion, typically name, email address and state of residence, and we use it to administer the promotion.

Entering a giveaway also adds you to our email list unless the rules for that promotion say otherwise. You can unsubscribe at any time, and unsubscribing does not remove or disqualify your entry.

Accepting a prize constitutes your consent to our use of your first name, last initial, state of residence, likeness and prize information for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. The full terms for any specific promotion are in its official rules.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and measure whether our advertising reaches people who are interested.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Refusing non-essential cookies will not stop you using the site. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for what they mean. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals where required.

8. How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money.

9. Your choices

Some information has to be kept even after a deletion request, including giveaway entry records, tax records for awarded prizes, and transaction records, because the law requires it.

10. Your state privacy rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email help@usedhotdogs.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will not discriminate against you for making one. You may use an authorised agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.

California residents may also request the categories of personal information we disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding 12 months. Those categories are listed in section 3.

11. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our giveaways are open only to entrants 18 and over. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email help@usedhotdogs.com and we will delete it.

12. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as you remain subscribed or have an active relationship with us, and afterwards only as long as we need it for the purposes described here or as the law requires. Marketing contact records are reviewed periodically and inactive records are removed. Giveaway entry records are kept for at least the period the official rules require, and tax records for awarded prizes are kept as long as the IRS requires.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendors who maintain their own security programmes. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. If the change is material, we will give notice by email or by a notice on the site before it takes effect.

15. Consent

By using usedhotdogs.com, signing up for our updates, or entering one of our giveaways, you consent to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site or submit information to us.
